About this pilot
Independent, practical and local.
A place to find local services, ask for practical help and make it easier to get things done in Muirkirk. Privately funded and built to grow around what the village finds useful.
Where it grew from
The service grew from charIT/everwished's Digital Communities work and is powered by madegood, from charIT.
It didn't become a MEG service. MEG, the council and the Community Council don't operate or endorse muirkirk.info. It isn't an emergency service.
A complement, not a replacement
This service complements muirkirk.org.uk; it doesn't replace it. It remains open to Community Council integration.
See the November session plan, volunteer aims and ways to get involved. Exact dates will be published once confirmed.
Who is responsible for your information and support for your organisation.
We aim to review secure requests within five working days. A receipt confirms that muirkirk.info received a request; it doesn't mean it has been sent to another service or resolved.
